I should have entered this challenge instead of trying to find umbrellas around Sydney
I have a photo from the corner of Pitt and King on my blog I should have used.
as for this photo, it lacks a main subject maybe if you had waited till the people were crossing and picked one to focus on, say the woman in white as she already stands out at a distance. open your aperture wide so the rest of the image drops out of focus to direct viewers to the subject

the man, dog and fog with the near monotone look all add to the overall effect
my only wish is for a foot of clearance above the top of the poles
my top score by a good margin

I think a horizontal flip would help this image as most people view an image from left to right
if you start on the left you only get halfway across the image before the large sphere grabs your attention which starts you jumping around the image without any flow
while the other way you would start on the big sphere and could move across or back into the photo giving both flow and depth
(I had to flip my entry for the same reason)
