when the sun setsby kamiguy001Comment: Personally, I agree the sun has authority over us but the image should illustrate the meaning. Air has authority over us, we all need it to live, but if you point the camera at nothing and submit a blurred blank picture is it going to go over well? You might title it "Air" and get some points. But that would be cleverly foolish.
The image would have significance, for example, if there was a person waking up stretching his arms as the sun was rising. Meaning is indecipherable without such visual cues.

Passion Weaveby dsb_macComment: The shot was simply lit with my desklamp. It's about a 60W bulb with a sheet of paper taped to the front to diffuse the light. What made the shot come alive though was post processing specifically using levels and hue. I was trying to get a color like lipstick. |
