Rustyby eikidigiComment: Forms: excellent. Textures: appealing. Then the colors and tonal contrasts send this image to another level altogether. |

First Gearby marshalfComment: Very sophisticated with the composition, forms, and color pallette. Very professional and striking. |

Desert Trainby boomerComment: I like it a lot. Good choice for the muted color pallette. Composition is technical, yet appealing. Focus is immedately drawn to the wheel, yet the eye wanders to other interesting things in the image (but always back to the wheel--good eye direction). Image quality suffers a little on the bottom left portion of the wheel with some jaggies, but I think that is just the medium with which we're working here (darned pixels). |

Bicycle Wheelby cainnComment: Superb. Sweet flowing, dynamic lines blurred into worlds of the abstract. I like the black/white color scheme accented with the blue--the diagonals making them even more dynamic and adding even more motion to the white rim. Very creative. Top notch in all regards. |

pinwheelby cyborgComment: Would have been more dramatic and eye-catching with a flat, uncluttered horizon. A great sky and graphic pinwheel. The tree(s) and house end up a distraction and detract from a good compositon, throwing more weight to the center of the image. |

Kimi Raikkonenby catalinmvComment: Very well done photograph. Technically excellent. The wheels are dominant by sheer visual weight. I would have cropped out a bit of the distracting background, however. It doesn't really add anything to the image. |

My first wheelsby CheerzComment: Soft focus? or blurred image confuses me (what is the point?). Low image quality (jaggies on the windshield line are really noticeable). Lack of direction to the wheel(s). My eyes are drawn to the number on the top of the truck rather than the wheels. Work on directing the eye of the viewer to the intended focus. |
