From Waterby speaseComment: umm looks like a well done snapshot. I also feel that the shot does not fit the challenge. It's not that I don't get it or see the relationship you are showing. But perhaps if the water was in the shot I would have easily given it to you. While it's obvious a boat belongs in water. I feel that you should show the separation. not just one of the two objects. Looking at it from the other direction if this had been a shot of some water I would have said the same. |

When will they GO to get me ?by thewandererComment: ok while I catch the separation it seems to fit isolation better to me. I beleive that I would be able to score this better if I had any clue at all what I was looking at. I am assuming this is some type of game simular to othello. so i'll have to base my score off of that asumption. Technicaly a decent phot but I don't feel thaat the shallow DOF worked well here. |

Egg-centricby SunnieeComment: very clean and crisp photo thats shows separation taking place. While this is not a peice I would have to run home and frame it is still very well done. One thing does look a little off to me however. The egg white looks to have some sickly green tinge to it. Other wise well done |

Don´t go!by garlicComment: Verry touching and emotional photo. I do however see two things that I dont care for in this shot. first the kids hands are a bit out of focus. Second. the little white cresent shaped spott in the middle. Its distracting. I either want to know what it is or get rid of it.... overall wonderfull shot. |

Engine being separated from carriages.by om10Comment: wow wonderfull shot of an old train. I expecialy love the steam, and the great maroon color. I fully undestand the separation and feel that it is pretty obvious. For a train fan this shot is bound to be a hit, however you might get rougher up a little by the others. The only complaint I have is that I would have liked a little more lighting down low to bring out some more of the details. grat shot. |

Nature's moment of separation.by grahampComment: Great angle, capture, and composition. I feel however that you DOF was just a little too shallow causing the outline of the bug to go out of focus. I also feel that a touch more lighting on the bug would have been nice. I love the capture and the use of brokeh the best however. |

Tropical Exposureby glad2badadComment: While this fits the challenge. I feel that this could have been shot better. There is a bright spot on the banana / peel that is very distracting. I also feel that you could have made better use out of the bright yellows from the banana. just seems to have enough imperfection to make it fairly uninteresting. |

Play Ballby deapeeComment: hmmmm. baseball ..well shot with good lighting. Just not exciting. I do like the DOF and the crisp details on the surface of the ball. |

Separating Colorsby banmornComment: What the? ok I'm lost... oil paint on a canvas, woter on the paint, and a prism across the lens???? who knows.. but thats the fun of abstract. The pho shows the separation of colors, it's mildley ineresting, and creative. The top half however is distorted too much for my taste and is not as pleasant as the bottom. |
