This fits the challenge. But the burner alone is not enough to keep my interest for long. Perhaps if there were fire comming fom the burner or if it were framed my a bright chrome ring or somthing. But as is just not exciting.

I do enjoy this shot and feel it works well. It does fit the challenge however I feel that if you cropped just a little more off the top it would help pull your eyes into the Z. As it is now I keep looking at the top of the image first and overlook the Z. If I wasn't looking for it I probably would have paid little attention to your Z. Otherwise great image with nice, color, great contrast, and a nice crisp focus. Great job.

Meets the challenge pretty well I do do however feel that your DOF is too shallow. It's not often I say this but I also think your photo needs to be a little more busy. While it may be a good shot and fits the challenge it lacks enough deatails and to make this photo interseting the lone plant is not enough to carry hte shot by itself. Not a bad shot it just lacks punch.

More ripples in the backgound water would have been nice, and maybe a slight color bump to bring out the greens and browns on the log. Thats about he onlything I can think of to improve this image. It's interesting, fun to look at, crisp, and fits the challenge perfectly great job.

I feel this would have worked better if the Y had been upright instead of titled to the right. I am also confused and don't like the round spotted light reflected in the center of the razor. I do howevr like the blue tones and the crsipness on the image. Not a bad shot all in all.

Umm well I must admit I'mm scoring this one a little low. as for why I feel that way.. well it's not interesting. Its a couple of straight lines and some shadows. There is nothing to hold the veiwers attention for and period of time. Give us mountains in the background, some trees on either side.. anything.. I just feel that this image was way to plain and simple. BTW the center post is tilted. I didn't meen to sound mean.. But I feel that honest is the best tool for learning.

hmm intesting and fist the challenge well. Somtnhing seems to be missing however perhaps a contrasty cloudy backdrop, or somthing of the sort to help this image pop out a bit more.. Well shot just feels a little too tame IMO. Still a nice shot. itr just has trouble standing out.

Interesting technique.. Pretty average shot and fairly boring Y. However the technique you used to make this high contrast B&W shot realy took the plain shot and stepped it up a knotch. Great job.

I see the Q it fits the challenge. The photo lacks in interest. Boom Q!!! then nothing. Aside from the Q there is very little in this shot to hold the veiwers interest..

Fits the challege and ist a technicaly good shot. I don't find it to very interesting or exciting. It lacks the power to pull ahead of the pack IMO. Leaving it feeling like a pretty average photo here on DPC.. not that being average here is all that bad.
