3 Gearsby Prof_FateComment: This is really close to being really nice -- I very much enjoy the graphic aspect of the image, but the technical details -- particularly sharpenss and/or depth of field, alignment of the subjects -- leave something to be desired. I think that shooting with a small apeture would get all three gears sharp. |

Mechanical Pencilby sfarrell23Comment: Without the title, this image doesn't share much information about the object. Perhaps a line or word would clue the viewer in and result in a more engaging image. |

1920's cash register.by jimsappComment: Cool! I have one like that, only from the '30s -- higher denominations and more keys. Nice image, well lit. It's hard to take pix of large objects like that with even lighting. |

Egg Guillotineby SweetlipsComment: The image could have benefited from darker mid-tones and highlights -- the edges of the eggs are hard to see. A tad less exposure would work nicely. |

"Old School"by cwalmyeComment: Nice subject, nice lighting, nice tones. Unfortunately, the image seems to have been executed somewhat hastily -- the gap or shadow at the lower edge of the backdrop is distracting, and it seems rather under-sharpened for web viewing. |

Once Yellowby PDavisComment: I think maybe too much on the increased saturation of the yellow. |

Sporty Little Numberby redmoonComment: it's dramatically over-sharpened, and the location with the overhead lights is probably not ideal because it creates very harsh highlights. |

Simplicityby deapeeComment: the image needs more saturation: adjusting the shadow point so the densest black is all the way black will help. |
