	orchid sunset by Tirpitz Comment: The loss of contrast at the wrist and arm kills it for me, I'm afraid. A very good idea and I love the coloring, but I think it would have been better if held at a point just out of the frame.

	Desert Sunrise by Artifacts Comment: The cactus is just distracting to me. A tighter crop around the bush (?) makes for a much more dramatic image, in my opinion. Very nice effects with the lighing.

	The Spirit of Texas by WebHorn Comment: Nicely captured. The rifle crossing the flag mast is distracting, as are the black shadows across the building (but what are you going to do? no effect on voting).
