Queen and her Guardsby soccerdadComment: Interesting looking candle holders. I like the subjects, but the straight-on shot robs the depth and textures I think. A different perspctive might have worked better.

Rusty Barrelby HBunchComment: Good colors, but there is a spo ton the flower and on a couple of blades of grass that are too hot on my monitor. The actual rusted object is almost too dark to tell it is rusted, and is a bit out of focus. I can't help but think a different angle with the flower contrasting against the rust would have helped the shot. |

Earthquake Boltby davidbedardComment: Pretty flowers. The flower buds give a nice contrast of new against the old implied in the rust, but the composition seem off to me. The spokes draw my attention toward the center of the 'Bolt', so perhaps if it was not so near the center of the photo it would have worked better. |
