focus could be better (larger DOF). lighting/colors could be better (less strong light from windows?). wood table just doesn't work. looks a little twisted, especially at the bottom. 2 or 3 degree rotation would help

I like it. It's just much too blurry. The people in the background are very distracting. A faster lens and better camera would really do a lot for this one.

This is one of my favorites. Perfect focus on the chain. Nice colors, nice blurred background. Might be a little better if you used a slightly larger (or slightly smaller) DOF

good lighting and colors. good title. I'm a bit bothered by the rust-colored (hair?) near the right-center and the light thing above and to the left of it, which could've easily been removed. i don't particularly like the pastic part on top. a smaller DOF might help. but those are all very minor. i like this one a lot

I really don't like looking at this picture, but technically it's pretty good. I'd prefer either a smaller DOF and focus on the bolt.

Rust Bucket

I love the colors, even if they're not quite natural. I don't like the light 1 or 2 pixel strip around the inside of the border. That won't happen if you draw the border after you resize it, but I don't particularly like the black boder anyway. Not a big deal though. This is a very nice looking picture.

only problem I see is that it's a little noisy. i don't see any reason why you couldn't use a lower ISO setting and longer exposure for this one. But you might just have a cheap camera, so I won't take points off for that
