Not That Kind Of Girl

I adore the feeling in this shot, the lighting, the colors, the composition. Their little hands tell so much of a story. The only drawback for me, and sadly a strong enough one to deter me voting a 10, is the softness in the faces and hair. I don't know whether it was added, or was captured that way, but it does take away a little bit for me. Despite that, you still have a wonderful image here, and it is among my top 20 in the challenge. 8

This shot is such a thing apart from the other images posted in this challenge. I love the story it tells. I love the way it lets me experience something I've not and likely will not ever experience. I love that you opted to muted natural colors instead of pushing the saturation to point of digital temptation. Just very well done, all around. 9

Entrancing

There is no question thst the eyes are stunning. The image is very aptly titled. Beyond the eyes, the tonal range is very nice, but I don't care for the slight yellow/green hue in the browns. Also the crop is a touch awkward for my taste, particularly the way the lip is clipped. But, it is worth repeating: the eyes are GORGEOUS.

What eyes! Great catchlights. The DOF really brings you into his eyes. I would have preferred no bib but these kind of captures aren't always planned for. This would also make a nice BW.

I'm not really caring for the selective desat here. The cold tone makes her skin deadish to me. I think the pose is good. I'm not sure about the backdrop at the bottom with the rippled black and gray - what is that?

Beautiful image, very well lit. The BW conversion is very nice as well. Tiny nit-pick: I can see the impression from her waistband on her skin. Changing into a robe or wearing pants with the low waistband an hour or so before shooting can prevent that. Still, very nicely composed.
