this is a perfect example of what people should do to their "normal" pictures of buildings.
with no offence meant to you or anyone else, it makes such a big difference to have a "different" edit of the regular building.
Unless of course the shot is really good in the first place (which this may have been?)
I mean, most of the pictures in this challenge have been very interesting, but they don't really stand out from other stuff.
and as this is a DIGITAL photography site, I think people should digitize their shots a bit more to give them some "pop".

The contrasting colors of the bricks against the sky is the cool thing about this shot.

I was going to say the same thing about not having the zoom.
Sometimes they are over rated and you just get used to having them.
and then you end up missing the whole picture.

the hand being cut off so abruptly bothers me though.
it would have been nice if it was a smooth transition lik ethe side of the face is.
