the minimal rule of thirds is very effective.
nice strong lines leading up.
it's a shame the smoke isn't more prominent.

Fires of industryby jackal9Comment: the only suggestion I'd have to improve this would be a sligthly tighter crop.
a little off the bottom to exclude the white thing and maybe a little off the left habd side to bring it tighter to the wheel.
otherwise, a really interesting study. |

Foundryby BAMartinComment: The texture and patterns on the bricks is great.
I think messing around with curves a bit might make your blacks blacker and whites whiter.
