Shine Onby JSAYBComment: So nice, but the steep lines are aliased probably due to improper resize method. The materials come through perfectly. |

fence black - fence white.jpgby bvlindalouComment: Conveys the feeling of the need for getting in, I can almost feel my hands on the fence. The strong contrast helps this a lot, as does the vignetting. |

Self Portraitby BenComment: Have to disagree with the complains about the focus. For me, it conveys the thoughts "you, just leave me alone with that camera of yours" which is very close to my thoughts when have to do self-portraits. The expression on the face reflects just the same. All other told before on the lighting and composition, well done! |

My Shoes are for saleby BBirgissonComment: I'm going to be rude.
Uninteresting subject with dull lighting in small size and without proper sharpness (seems like it was taken with a phone). One good point about that: the shoelace leaading out of the frame. |

Fall's Endby cogeroxComment: It's a generally good picture that doesn't have anything really special. It reasons the lack of comments and also the shape of vote diagram. Back to the shot: the bank make the user feel it's not horizontal, even if it is (checking on the pagoda says it is, checking the antenna says it's not perfect). Presenting this much sky may not be the best option without interresting clouds so I'd try a different setup/crop. First, check with a somewhat wider landscape (if the bank ends on the right, include it). Second, concentrate on the pagoda and the tree, in portrait orientation. (I personally prefer this 2nd one.)
edit: 2nd with this nice reflection of course! Message edited by author 2006-12-13 08:53:25. |
