Nice photo, good subject, well composed. The background seems a bit washed out and would benefit from a bit of work with levels, curves and contrast. I like the river. It gives perspective and interest. It may not have been possible but if the observer could have been a bit higher, the river could have added additional interest.

Classic shot well executed. Love the focus, color and levels. Composition is good but a little cliche. But then again, how does a cliche become a cliche. Among my favorites for this challenge. Hope it does well.

Simple photo but not so simple to take and render. I like the nearly black sky and the high contrast with the subject. The sky especially is exceptionally and I like the way it gradients from midnight blue to black at the edges. Maybe it's just my monitor but it's very subtle. Among my top pics. Hope it does well.

I lke the way the airshow smoke leads you around the photo and adds a very dynamic feel. Colors, levels and focus are virtually perfect. Nicely done. Hope it does well.

Obviously the smoke is the subject of the photo and the plane only a necessary prop to explain the smoke. The levels, focus and colors of the smoke are fantastic. It may well have been impossible but if we could see a bit more than the silouette of the plane, I think it would have enhanced the photo. Still agreat photo and among my top pics.

Very nice photo of an historic vintage aircraft. Composition, lighting, focus and composition are very good. The title is a bit obscure and while it attracted me to the photo in the first place distracted me when i opened it.

Nice photo. Nice macro effect. The reflections are very powerful. I think the subject would be better served if the background was a bit more blurred. As it is, it detracts from my focus on the subject. I think I might has used PS to remove "dust and scratches." Highlights on the foreground right are a little distracting. Highlights on the metal are terrific.

Very nice. Feels like a Courior & Ives print. I like the blurred white circular border and the way it gives an other worldly feel to the subject. It also enhances the contrast of the photo which is quite effective. Hope this does well.

Your choice of color perfectly conveys the mood of waiting. The disappointment and the anxiety. Lighting does a nice job of bringing out the reflections on the glass, the silverware, corkscrew and the plates. The candel flames and their reflections on the wall are little hot. I might suggest toning them down a bit. All in all, the best photo and it got my top score. Hope you ribbon.

Oh, and by the way, if it were me I wouldn't make her wait!
