Peppersby briandsdComment: Color, texture, lighting are all very good. Makes these peppers look good enough to eat ... not that easy of a task. |

poutby LutchenkoComment: Well composed. Well exposed. Nice model. Nice border. A little heavy on noise reduction for my taste. You can see some artifacts in the hair and the skin is artificially smooth. |

Red Wineby SibbieComment: I like the contrast of red, black and white. Nice foreground/background dynamics, too. |

Matthew 19:14by jasonlpriceComment: A well executed vision of religion as a saccharine force. I deeply dislike this kind of sugary image (no protein here), but cannot find a better example in this challenge. 9 from me ... in spite of my prejudices. |

God's Houseby NikonJebComment: I like the lens distortion here. It reinforces the religious overtones of building a monument to God. The processing which highlights the construction details is very very good. It feels solid, somehow, like you would want your faith to be a solid presence in your life. |

San Ramon, CAby DigiFotoBuddyComment: I lived in San Ramon off and on for about 10 years in the late 80's and early 90's. Nice place. Nice weather. This is an interesting take on it. The houses along the left, at first glance, look like cliffs or rims of a valley ... then I look closer and they're houses. I like that inthe photo. And at first, you don't see the freeway next to the gravel road, and then you do. And at first you don't notice the curb, and then you do. Overall it's a bit sureel. Well done. |
