The flash ruins what might otherwise be an interesting image. On-camera flashes flatten everything and rim them with sharp, unaesthetic shadows. I try to avoid using them for anything but crude snapshots.

Nice exposure! I like the contrast of old and new, dead and alive, hard and soft. The center of interest is placed in the right part of the frame. This image evokes a sense of hope. It has a very positive feeling about it.

This has a nice atmosphere. Tha shadow area has a lot of contrast and really commands the eye. Cropping a little from the bottom would help reduce its significance and help the eye to remain on the intended subject.

The image has a nice subtle mood, an interesting title, and nice visual rhythm, though the composition could benefit from a tighter crop, with the top fifth removed.
