Ribbonby DCrest01Comment: Good concept nicely presented with well executed composition. This appears as though it may have been buzzed or simplified, processes which I greatly enjoy - normally. The degree to which this as been simplified leaves the image, for me, feeling pixelated. And, I think, it is due to the inherent coarseness of the ribbon's threads. I wonder if MORE simplification would smooth out those hard squares and lend to a more flowing impression? Nonetheless, the form and lines are topnotch, it is the "texture" that just didn't work for me.
Please do not be offended by reaction; remember, abstract photography is an art form, subject to the viewer's emotions. Regardless of my experience with the overall texture, I think your eye is very good for this type of work. So, quite sincerely, I wish you good luck with the image. |

Concept of Seasonby Yo_SpiffComment: Mesmerizing vortex. This is so well crafted, that the viewer's translation could be that is either an ascension or a decent - or an energy that is dynamic in both directions. Then... there is that suggestion of a tunnel coming/leaving from the upper left corner. Quite a complex creation, well crafted. The more I study it, the more I find to study. Hope this ribbons for you. |

Spring Danceby BudyaComment: That flourish of gay pink really does make this feel like a spring fling. I like the way all the points come together at the top left. |

Think Greenby illini75Comment: The pronounced vertical movement imparts an uplifting mood; ergo, it is a rather cheery piece with bits of interest added by the blue-gray water patches and the heftiness of white and black of the tree trunks(?). Good luck. |

p i s t a c h i oby Ja-9Comment: Captivating array of greens - from white asparagus to black avocado, so the title is perfect! The brightness of the kite shape is a pleasant contrast to the soft folds of the more linear form on the right. Its ephemeral quality and seductive flow should earn this a spot on the front page. Best of luck. |

Fields of Greenby AnnComment: What sensuous undulations of grass! The light was perfect for capturing the shadows thus the different shades of green. Very lovely. Is this somewhere in the Flint Hills? |

The Little Princeby enikoComment: Brings back childhood memories of watching the ants suck the honeydew at the ends of the peony buds. |

Cones of Greenby patchesComment: Perhaps a bit too helter-skelter for my personal taste, nonetheless, a very clever interpretation of the challenge. |

Complexby Kathryn8Comment: Scintillating and starry! Really fun! Astonishing macro as much as an abstract. |
