Is this really the road?by ssComment: I really like this idea, and it looks like a good spot for the shot. However, though I can see that you are trying to bring the viewer into the car, the over the shoulder view gives me a crowded feeling and takes my attention away from the view out the window. Did you try this shot more toward the front seat or maybe over the hood? I gave good marks for an original idea. |

Sunday Driversby karmatComment: I like this shot! It is the most interesting auto shot I've seen so far. Good effects, exposure, and contrast. |

Frustrationby chariotComment: Nice use of camera angle and oversaturation to convey a mood. |

Country Crossroadsby David EyComment: This is nice, but doesn't fully do it for me. I think there are two things going on here. First, the background destracts from the crossroads. I cropped from the top and right side and thought it worked better. Secondly, it would be nice to have something else in the photo, ideally a horse drawn carriage coming up to the intersection. Of course, we can't easily pull one of those out of our bag now can we? sigh... I really like the almost surreal look of the road and foilage. It has a nice mood created by the angle and the lighting on the bushes near the crossroads. |

Hit the Road-Jack.by heritconComment: This looks like a somewhat hurried shot so the composition isn't ideal. Obviously the lighting isn't ideal either, but you did a really good job of having just the right shutter speed to give a sense of action. You might try tighter cropping, lopping off the left and bottom. You might also get some improvement by increasing the gamma. |

Asphalt Mirageby hokieComment: I think this to be perhaps the most original shot for this challenge. Nicely executed, interesting, and unique plus it has good color, saturation, composition, contrast, focus, and lighting. Very good indeed! |

Husky Hitch Hikerby Photo JimComment: How much did you have to pay this guy? Interesting shot that might have been improved by composing the subject off-center. You also might want to use fill flash to counter the harsh sun light and lessen the shadow under his face. |

Cattle Crossingby CountComment: I like the idea of framing the bridge with a tunnel. It might look better if taken from the middle late so the bridge could be perfectly centered. |
