Some have asked what happened to the chipmunk. Well, sadly he became the heronĂ¢€™s lunch. My neighbor has a bird feeder that has been attracting a lot of wildlife this year and this guy seemed to return daily to hunt for food. I never knew that rodents were consumed by these birds and it was very unexpected. It also was seen eating mice as well. Ah, the circle of life!
