Ok photo. Ok headline. For your headline I picture the crowds of people in the park looking at a stage rather then the actual musicians. Focusing on the musician would require a different headline in my opinion.

Good headline. OK photo. A little too caotic for my tastes. I'd recommend cropping out the shadow area to make it uniformly lit. I'm also thinking the people near the red sign in the middle would've made a great crop.

Pretty good photo. A zoom in on the emotions displayed would've been much more effective I think. A story like this tugs at the heart, and your photo is cropped to show the possessions being saved which detracts from the emotion being displayed. That's how I see a photo like this for a newspaper shot. I hope they find a new home soon. Poor little kid.
