Twilight Interludeby geneward2Comment: Beautiful silhouette shot and great storytelling! The only gripe (and it's minor) is to watch out for digital banding in the red/orange tones coming off the sun. I've shot scenes like this and trust me I know what a pain it is to get the gradations just right.... it's a home run when you can nail it, though. |

cold and rainyby karmatComment: Good treatment and processing but the crop seems a bit loose to me. I'd come in a little on the bottom, a bit off the top and some in from the left to tighten up and focus on the triangle formed by the mountain, main building and the shoreline homes on the right. |

Witness Protection Programby MelethiaComment: Good monochrome treatment but I'm a little lost on the story here. I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but the "half dog" made me laugh. |

The Wildseed Farmby HornOUBetComment: Image seems a little flat with low contrast and the reds seem blown out. I think you have a decent composition here but need to rework your light and color balance a little. |

Hanoi Stillby jjbeguinComment: Love the gritty detail here. Upon first glance I had no idea what I was looking at and in an abstract kind of way I thought of shipping containers or barges bumping up against each other. My brain and eye caught up and I see that it's walls and a window and a broom... All in all a great shot with lots of visual stuff to chew on. Well done. |

Fall in the Sierrasby daevansComment: I like the concept of framing the fall colors and the cabin and trailer with the trees in the foreground but I think it falls a little short of being a great shot. The cabin and the trailer have a lot of interest so I wish I could see them better. Also, that stump between me and the trailer is a distraction. If you have another shot from this scene where you were standing where that stump is and have the same cabin and trailer a little larger in the frame with the same bright trees off to the left.... that's the shot I'd like to see. |

Serenityby kettleComment: It may be the wine I've had tonight but it looks like your picture is crooked - leaning down to the right. I think the overall composition might also be improved by moving the horizon up or down and making the person or the storm the main focus. The two elements works well against each other but they're too "even" to me as it stands. If that makes any sense at all. |

One Sunny Day...by AliaaComment: You have three flowers as your focal point and that does play to the "in threes" rule. I do wish the center one was the brightest, though. Or that it was at least as bright as the one to the left. |

A Hummingbirdby jere2201Comment: The hummer seems a tad soft and possibly a stop underexposed. I might also shift a little more negative space to the right to keep it from being so dead center. |
