Simple Little Crownby neenee1999Comment: The fillet of vines -- are dead vines this pliable? -- is confidently supported by this pretty young girl with the thoughtful or sad expression. Her red hair and brown eyes are very appealing. I also like how she's set off against the black field. |

Living dead among us!by FocusPointComment: I find the placement of the brown mass on top to be disconcerting, maybe deliberately so, as is death. It's all nicely set off by the surrounding bright greenery and yellowing leaves, as noted in the title. |

Season of Death by CoryComment: Beautiful portrayal of winter's serenity. It's just so immediate and, yes, intimate. The weak sun casts enchanting light. My favorite of this challenge.
