DSC_1199 resby AmmieComment: Like the opening of a movie saga. Many layers of depth, which draws you deeply in. The dark, moody weather is more emotional than a splendid day. I expect the Cartwrights, from Bonanza, cantering up to the window at any moment. Fine. |

Beachy by Yo_SpiffComment: If this were a cell, the window and view alone would keep you sane, balm for the soul. It's all the more intensified by the small compass here, though hopefully the window opens to afford a much wider scope. A small gem. Also, the slightly distorted reflections in the picture glass add more charm to the room overall. |

the viewby TiberiusComment: So much going on, shapes, lines, colors, all overlapping in a frenzied composition that's quite pleasing. I like how only the window is out of focus, big and commanding yet somehow trivial. Plenty of variety in everything. Beautifully realized. |

But, If I Go Outside, I'll Get Wetby jcarComment: That path into the foggy mountains is real enticing, pulling one to leave the car, and everything, behind. Your hedging title pleads otherwise. Fascinating tension. The unassuming foreground beautifully opens up possibilities. For a car window it's handsomely framed. Nice color palette, green, gray and black.
Did you go?

At One with the Seaby LydiaComment: Great reach to the horizon, accompanied by a terrific line of clouds. A story unfolds, but I'm unsure how to read it. Nice. |

Uptownby NeatComment: Fine black and white tale of the older, more human scale architecture becoming swamped by the incoming newer buildings, rather soulless and heartless. My take, at least. Nice depth, as we can perceive the newest building being erected. Wonderful sky. |

Mirror Lake by StructorComment: Nice sweeping image. You can feel the power of these clouds in your gut. |

Morning's blush by wildirisComment: Beautiful, delicate, dreamy. It's a land- and waterscape subsumed by its atmosphere. Love every bit of it, especially the water grass like pencil strokes. Silky.

That's the way it was by NeatComment: And I understand your points, too, Anita, Roz and Catherine. Sometimes my preferences get tangled with rigidity. |
