Gullsby hajekaComment: The amazing thing about these head-on gulls, or terns?, is that they look like they're made of clay, baked and painted in matte colors. The could be hanging by fishing line. Say, in a museum diorama. They look great. It's a terrific shot. |

Trick or Treatby MeMex2Comment: Amazing looking birds! A honey of a pose. You just want to smile, maybe laugh in pleasure. Simply presented, which is all you need against the sky and interesting roof.
Thank you. |

What Remainsby ElaineComment: See under "B," for beautiful. To appreciate our everyday world gives life depth and satisfaction. For example... Lovely colors, maybe doodled with, but strutting their stuff in silent majesty. And just so without the leaves, simply branches. And so on. |

The Making of a Masterpieceby vawendyComment: The casual, bright photographer thrives in the corner. We see the view partly through his eyes, more so than in a straightforward landscape. And it's gorgeous, awe inspiring.
Imagine, we can just go and see this. Handsome work. |

The Valleyby Alex_PetriniComment: At odds with my personal preference for no sign of humanity in landscapes, the road kind of works here as it echoes the terrain. The fog, or low clouds, spilling through the valleys is lovely to gaze upon. Great depth, eventually fading into the subtle sky. Heartening atmosphere. Fine stuff. |

transitby NiallOTuamaComment: Your title, and henceforth the image, is multi-faceted and spectral. What's going on, are these human forms real, is this the way to the afterlife? Haunting, and somewhat frightening. Nice use of the fragmenting overlay. Powerful.

apocalypse by HUETHComment: Nice title. And all we can do now is let the geese make it good again. Wonderful parade, and so effective in this perspective. Black and white seems the way to go, enhancing the drama. The moody, befogged background maintains focus on the foreground. Surprising and wonderful.
