Sorry, I can't even tell what this is a picture of exactly. Is it a tile countertop? I like the pattern, but it doesn't strike me as extraordinary/

I tend to agree that oceans can be extraordinary things, but I don't think this image conveys a sense of that. The waves look to be the primary subject here, and there doesn't appear to be anything extraordinary about these.

Interesting concept, but I think the point (the strength of the crane lifting the large object) is lost by having such a wide angle view. On the other hand, the wide angle helps give it some scale.

Interesting shot but doesn't convey "extraordinary" to me. The lighting bothers me a bit and the little nodes (?) should be more in focus.

Not a bad photo, but there doesn't appear to be anything extraordinary about this sunset. Also, the foreground foliage seems out of focus and intrudes too much onto the mains subject (the sunset)
