	Bumpy yet Smooth by Neuferland Comment: Very small sliver of photo is in focus, and even that shows hardly any texture, highlights or shadows. A better 3D subject under these same conditions would have produced much improved results for you.

	DesertRose by jferreira Comment: Shallow depth of field. Camera focused on background rather than center subject, leaving it out of focus and in the viewer's mind, unimportant. Unfortunately in this case, it's dead center in this pic. A closeup of this rock could have proven very nice indeed.

	cataclysmic taming by xburnerx Comment: Nice tone to this pic. Overall lighting is rather flat and soft. Might have highlighted taller cotton swabs for greater variation, interest. and display of texture.
