Trapped in Lightsby kateasanovComment: Very nicely done, and a good idea for this challenge. I brief flashlight pulse to show the subject's face would provide a better connection to the trapped person. I think you could afford a tighter crop too, but still earns an 8. |

washday reach outby kiwinickComment: That's quite an imagination you've got there. Is this how they do laundry in Atlantis? Some minor reflections or blur on the clothespins, and some distracting areas in the blue, but I'd expect to see this among the top 20. Gave it an 8. |

the cloudmakerby nikantComment: Looks like something I might have done- LOL. With a little more DOF on those clouds, I'd expect a ribbon. With that much blur, though, I think you might have mist it. 8 |

Peeled, Sliced, and Choppedby dacrazyrnComment: Very good surrealism. I kinda wish you had a vegetable peeler in the other hand to complete the story. Good job pulling this off under Basic Editing. 8 |

Bodhisattva by labudsComment: You must have great hand-eye coordination. ;-)
Can't wait to see how this was done. My guess (based upon some slight blur in the palm) would be a double exposure. Regardless, this is excellent work and surely among the ribbons. Gotta be Labuda or maybe Seanachai. My pick for, uh... second place. ;-) 10 |

DreamMasterby smvallesComment: The blurry motion and poor lighting kills any chance you might have had with a potentially good subject. Yes, the blur could be considered part of the surrealism, but you need a perfect exposure and/or better quality lighting to communicate your skill to the viewers before blur will be considered intentional. |
