shineby jmritzComment: I really like back and white, and I think I understand the context of the photo. However, the general subject matter, including man entering the car, is somewhat distracting. I am not sure the depth of editing you applied, but the main features that jump out are over-exposure and additional softness. |

Sundeck for dreamersby NeatComment: I can see the people relaxing in the chairs getting a view of the landscape and enjoying the sea air. The antiqueness of the photo gives a sense of a time past. The lines of the chairs and deck planks leads my eye to the sunlit peninsula and waterway. Very nice work! |

Sangu Sundownby ecmguyComment: Great use of the dock and building lines to lead the viewer to the setting sky. The clean features enhance the overall characteristics of this picture. Capturing the edge lighting without detracting too much from the sky is well nicely done. |

Sunrise on Avonby Tommy_MacComment: Very nice, artistic photo. I like how the lines of the posts lead the viewer back to the horizon and sunrise. I know the view of this day and event is in the eye of the beholder, but I think a bit more depth in the color of the sunrise would be a nice enhancement. Beautiful photo! |

And the sun set the clouds on fireby genova24Comment: When I first looked at this photo, I said "Nice depth of color". Clouds are clearly one of the most interesting aspects of good sunrise an sunset shots. I will add, I would prefer to see some reference to the ground-sky line, even if just minor. Good work! |

Sun Cityby PennyStreetComment: Very, very nice! I love black and white. Your capture of the sunburst and spots across the photo is a very attractive, artistic aspect of the photo. The graininess gives a sense of an older time period, and the perspective is a great aspect of the framing. Great work. |

Overgrown Sundialby dtremainComment: I am a true fan of the black and white. Although it took the caption to help me understand it was an overgrown sundial, I like the light and dark contrasts. One distraction for me, is the sundial arm which is a line that directs my attention to the upper left corner of the photo which I do not think is the central point you expected the viewer to set his/her focus. Nice photo! |

Sunset in local parkby PianoComment: I really like the capture of colors and sunburst quality of the sun. This is very subjective, but I find a greater depth of field would really enhance this photo. Very nice work! |
