I am a true fan of the black and white. Although it took the caption to help me understand it was an overgrown sundial, I like the light and dark contrasts. One distraction for me, is the sundial arm which is a line that directs my attention to the upper left corner of the photo which I do not think is the central point you expected the viewer to set his/her focus. Nice photo!
