Barn.jpgby VanBergenComment: Are these colours unaltered? they seem a little off to me. There are some majestic clouds there and think you could get a great B&W version with a little dodge/burn in the sky. The hopper looks like a chimney spurting out smoke. |

Snowy Ground, Dry Treeby justin_hewlettComment: Coming from the 1-4-0 thread, am sure you agree the score was justified. You have many excellent images in your portfolio, this should be kept there as a reminder of things past ;) |

My first thought is the snout could be a little sharper? I like the 'caged animal' approach and the oof bars add to the feel of the image. Maybe bring out the eyes more and enhance the catchlight (glimmer of hope?) |

outake2.jpgby ColeyComment: Well, I'd like to say this 'outake' is more impressive than the submitted shot, but, that was a Blue Ribbon! so I can't say you'd have fared better lol. I prefer this because rather than thinking of her dilema she is doing something about it. Fantastic portfolio btw, I could spend a day commenting in here :) |

Don't Cryby ElaineComment: A great idea for the comp but as its been said a little work needed on execution. I'd like to see a revisited shot, am sure it would be much better today :) |

Eweby MudHutComment: Great composition and a nicely filled frame. At the risk of losing the colour of light, how does this work in B&W? |

salted rockby MudHutComment: I like this and think the shallow dof works well here. Just enough sharpness to lead you into and back out of 'the hole' |

Sewer Pipeby TooCoolComment: Coming from the 1-4-0 thread (am not linking it cos peeps keep commenting on my portfolio.
Flicking through your portfolio I'd disagree that its your most underated image! If it was a tad sharper and rotated slightly (the slant puts me off) then yes, I may agree with you. Super find though and well worth revisitng :) |
