WK 2 300_0115.jpgby salmiakkiComment: ooh, very cold, we actually had a thin covering of snow this morning but I never see ice like this! Not sure if it was the conversion but would have liked to have seen the ice a tad sharper and a little more detail in the snow. |

husband, daughter, sonby RetroesqueComment: A stark image, black and white in the extreme lol and not your normal family photograph!
Very creative shot if just a little too dark for me (and my monitor). You have some great B&W work in your profile Lisa and a fresh outlook on photography imho ;) |

Caryatidsby kolasiComment: I like both versions but agree its probably better auited to B&W. Am just wondering if we can see the last weeks graveyard shot from this view?
Could almost have been reshot and used for the advertising challenge 'visit Greece and explore...'

The Planted Hitchhikerby trevytrevComment: Great shot and from a great angle too. As others have said it doesn't look very IR to me. Does the 350D have an IR setting cos I thought it had a pretty strong IR (removal) filter built in? Print it big and hang it on your wall (or better still sell it)

Week 1 - Marioby wickee_oneComment: Nice shot and great eyes! They do tend to be goofy and very slobbery lol. Love his ears too, guess he is waiting to be called? or told off for doing something wrong lol |

Street at Night (b&w 2008 #2)by nikolaosComment: Great capture Nikolaos ;) and you did well looking at the cam settings - thought about a tripod or were you just passing?
Brick paved street as well, am sure you can get plenty more great shots there. My only niggle is the cropped off lamp and would have preferred all of the lamp in the shot too.

week-5.jpgby LanndonKaneComment: Am not sure this would even be classed as a vignette? yes it is a tad extreme though as has been said if you don't try stuff you won't move forward.
Very bold choice of edit and a good subject to try it on ;) oh, and I won't mention the tilt (doh!) |

Week 05by hajekaComment: nope, I don't need another lens!!
Focus/dof is spot on here I think with great framing/composition. I was going to suggest a crop on the right to the edge of the 'bodyguards' hat but on reflection I prefer as is. Well done you :) |

1.52 Smoke breakby MelethiaComment: A really well chosen moment to shoot him (oops that was a pun). Everything seems to fit together as if it were placed there by you.
Am sure there are lots of stories to be had from this single image - nice work ;) |

Imposingby SaraRComment: I was another of your sevens Sara ;) Love the shadows on the steps, repetition, repetiton lol (private joke). A moody sky would have pushed me to an 8 (or beyond).
