Not sure what the others are smoking today (or this month for that matter) but this was a doorknob in the thumbnail for my trained though oft strained eye.

Love the perspective and tones here and of course the LB shows a much better dof than any 'proper' lens might ;)

My first thought too then I thought its a mix between over exposing a little, the LB effect and maybe a bit in post processing? either way this is a stonking image and going into my rather small favourites folder :)

Health and safety should close that bridge, what with a gaitors and no hand rail is a foto opportunity not to be missed! not wanting to lose the entire LB effect here I do think a square crop from the left improves this shot a little?

so Art, which is your room?

Thanks for the idea, I must nip to the University of East anglia, its a typical 70's learning institution and might just be right for a bit of LB treatment. Your choice of 'colour' is just right her.

WOW, what a foreground to put in front of that awesome sky! Now, the bird was either a result of waiting for hours, serendipity or you got a bird brush for christmas? whichever it finishes this shot off perfectly.

not crazy about the window reflection - didn't have a polarizer on me, and those dang street signs take away from the "timeless" look...

I beg to differ Karen, I think the sign and picket fence reflected in the windo really set this image off nicely so, I downloaded the image and flipped it horizontaly so I could read the sign, even better now imho.
