Homage to Anselby Bran-O-RamaComment: You got the type of contrast right. There's a lot of good "light" here. But there is no subject for the eye to focus on here. Its just a setting. |

Devils Mount.by marboComment: Too much of an air-brushed look, not enough foreground detail. |

Urban Bridgeby bobdaveantComment: The ripples on the water are great, nicely rendered for this challenge. Composition works well. |

Separation from city lifeby RulerZigzagComment: Seems over sharpened with software. And, though I'm sure it was a nice vista while you were there, this framing lacks an interesting focal subject. The viewers eye rests on the trees, which aren't that interesting. |

1 mother's love anothers painby jokesterof86Comment: The picture has some interest, but out of focus isn't the same as soft focus. The lack of detail and predominant digital noise detract from it. You need to stay within the boundaries of what your camera can do. (I curse that fact every day!) What if you had to submit this without a title? What would you expect people to take away from this shot? I just don't like titles that "explain" the picture. |

Wearing the painby tidaggerComment: This doesn't even work for me as an abstract. The eye is led to some unfocused black hole in the center. So what? What if you had to enter pictures without titles, what would this picture convey? |

Blue Light Specialby dsa157Comment: By forcing this to fit the challenge, you made a very good picture look, well, not so good. |

Dream Weddingby notonlineComment: Better lighting would have done a lot for this. Itsblown out at the bottom, and the man's head disappears into darkness at the top. Their faces, being at the top are very dark and don't lend any impact. |
