Autumn in the Sierra Nevadaby kirbicComment: This highly processed coloring wors in many pictures that are posted here. It gives them an ethereal, other-worldly quality. But IMO, it doesn't work here. Its too busy for such a simple composition and detracts from the effect of the whole. |

Can't Fight the Moonlight!by dwterryComment: Good capture in a darkened space. The composition worked out well, with the sign across the top and enough detail in the background and not too much digital noise or the plasticising effect of removing noise. And oh yeah, girls dancing on a bar :) |

While I agree that your title should not have to explain the connection to the Challenge, I discount little for that when faced with a fine phorograph. The texture underneath the shadow really sets off a good composition. |

"Part" of an Oldieby JeileenComment: More interesting the more I look at it, which I guess means good composition! I think the swoop of the lines off to the right gives it movement, there are great colors and a nice clarity to the whole thing. The glint at the top of the light is a nice little feature. |
