A simple flowerby loboz33Comment: Very nice idea.
The stamens look too 'rough' in relation to the gentle tones and curves of the background. This might be the point but I would prefer to get rid of deep black shadows in the texture of stamens. |

Proud Papaby inspzilComment: Why isn't this a winner??? I refuse to understand!!!
It is art, found in garage, funny, symbolic and _very_ original! There is perfect amount of light and it is precisely distributed to draw attention, the point of interest is properly positoned with secondary detail (threads) following the right path of the sight, the sparkles off the baby-wrench give it personality and smile and reliable hands of the 'papa' won't let it fall... I also like the sepia look of it with color hints on the star bursts. |

workers of the world unite!by xburnerxComment: From critique club.
As for me - I konw exactly what the title means and where it comes from. I just don't like the ideology behind that title. Otherwise, you are supposed to hold the rising sun (center of the spot light) in your hand - otherwise it makes impression that you are holding the sun from rising. |

Forgotten Cornerby leafComment: From critique club.
Tyler, I am looking at your works for the third time now and realize that you are a master of mood. In this case everything - sepia, grain, items in the frame and composition prove that tis is really forgotten corner.
My problem is that I dont like myself in the mood which your photo casts on me. I hate such corners - I've seen them too much. And watching your work does not leave me any optimism and hope. This is definitely art, but I gave it only +4 because I can not live with such entropy... |
