Blow-outby lettybComment: How many "it's not a wheel's" have you got? The interesting parts of your subject (to me) are the blow-out and the word "warning". I think a different angle and/or cropping could bring more attention to that. Grass on the left is strong enough to detract from the subject. |

The wheel which makes the world go 'roundby carlosComment: Nice color and lighting. The background breaks up a bit on my monitor. I won't dun you for it being a coin, but I do take exception to the title--just don't think the Euro has yet gained the status of the economic force you imply. Still, it's a nice shot. If I'd chosen this subject for the competition, I would have stood it on edge--but that's my vision, not yours..... |

Spinning Wheelby JeanComment: Interesting idea. Probably the most unique take on a bike wheel in this challenge. Overall it doesn't grab me, though.. I wonder if there is a way to get more multiples of the wheel between the two to make this vibrate more? Hope your comments reveal the set up for this one. |

After the rain...by pisuComment: Like the point of view and the choice of subject. I think the reflection of the statue detracts, though. Not sure, but it might be better with a greater depth of field to bring the bike tires into focus. B&W appropriate for the subject. |

Wheel of Stoneby BupuComment: Interesting choice of crop. Nice subject. This has strong graphic qualities that are appealing. The color is not my taste, but that's just me. The arrangement also makes this look more like a manhole cover than a church window... |

Pin Wheelsby whallswoComment: Nice. Festive. I think this would benefit from a little more light on the closest pinwheel. I like the contrasting texture of the background. The light on the reflective surfaces seems to provide enough motion without actually spinning the subjects, but the overly birhgt whites seem to throw the composition out of balance. |

Stuck !by ColeyComment: Great p.o.v.! Wide angle, move in, bend knees, click! (Wish more people would bend knees.) |

Duncan Glow Imperialby hopperComment: If the string were crisp this would work for me in b&w. But without that, I want to see color--something neon so it really glows. (just the way I see it) |

F-1by GordonComment: The color and texture drew me to this--but I'd like the camera to go left and down a bit. |

Glyphsby alanbataarComment: This caught my attention in the thumbnail where it looks more like relief. In the larger version the edges of the frames catch the light and reveal what it is. I wonder if you did the same thing but placed the subject on something like tracing paper and back-lit from behind the paper...... |
