Along Came A Rainbow

Well, you already know you're stretching a bit since there are rainbows at the Horseshoe Falls almost any sunny day..... But the subject is decently captured. A lower point of view and the edge of the falls would have hidden the cast shadow on the mist. Lucky you for being in one of my favorite spots this past week.

Very nice! I like the way the power lines play into the subject. Light on the bird also helps create some of the success here. It makes one think about the relationship of the made and natural worlds. One of the nicest so far.

Interesting technique. The background is degraded on my screen. And, I have to ask, how is this a "wise discovery" or a "fortuitous accident"?

I really can't figure out what this is supposed to be and the title isn't any help. The small size, mono-color, poor resolution and lack of detail in the white areas make the subject cryptic.

Just your luck, they were closed. The lighting seems unbalanced with the brights to bright on the left pulling the eye away from your subject. Perhaps a more limited depth of field or closer cropping would help?

Cute pun. Lucky squirrel. Crisp details in the grass and fur.

Sorry, I don't understand your subject. Discovery of fire? If so, the modern context of pavement and the model's shoes and clothes don't work. Sepia was a nice choice in this case. I guess more definition on the white object would make this all clearer to me---now I'm wondering if that's a flower.....

Lovely! You even captured the life-light in the cardinal's eye. I guess the serendipity lies with the photographer, fine with me.

Wonderful detail in the feathers. Hard to capture that on such quick moving subjects as finches (or is it a sparrow?) and at such a limited depth of field, too!
