This ought to be a top ten--at least! I love the path in the image, the lovely color on the ladybug, very crisp. (Though I wonder if it might appear too crisp, or oversharp.) Excellently seen!

Sweet capture! I love the black of the (?)birch tree! Birds are so difficult, even with good lenses, to capture convincingly. This is an extremely successful pic (IMHO)!

Delicate and pretty! Such a strong subject with great detail that the negative space seems to be a necessary balance (rather than an empty space to meet the challenge).

Interesting composition. I wish the true horizon was level and the lamp in the reflection absent. Still, nicely seen!

I like the way the squirrel sort of surprises me with its presence! He's just so coy, as squirrels will be. Neatly conceived!

Chickadees are some of my favorite birds! Great use of DOF! To be more perfect the tip of the tail would have to be present. Still one of my favorites in this challenge.

This is a powerful way to address a centered composition....however...
It would be nice to see better focus on the flower since there is little rest for the eye, I just want some reward for all the work my mind must do. Unfortunately, there are points to rest on and they seem to be bits of sensor dust. In an advance editing challenge those could be easily addressed with cloning, of course.

The foal was a nice idea for a subject but several things take away from it. The lines of the fence, the dominance of the landscape in general, pull the eye away. It appears the focus is on the house rather than the foal and, in general, it could use some sharpening. Shooting from a different position to help isolate the subject, limiting depth of field to bring the attention back to the foreground, these among other things could help. Hope you have an opportunity to try this subject again, it's full of potential.

There's something odd in the rendering of this image--oversharpened, perhaps. I like grain in an image (though many don't) but this is something other than "grain" I think. The subject is o.k. but she is at an odd point in her step, feels as if she's about to tip over. Sorry if you find this harsh, just trying to be honest.

On its own, an interesting portrait. But for this challenge....I feel you've missed the point.
