A boy and his trucksby nitro102Comment: As a snapshot this is fine, although it's perhaps a little too convential for the challenge. Also, the dust infront of the child makes the photo look blurred. Perhaps you could have taken the photo from closer to the ground - to bring the viewer into the childs world, rather than simply observing from above. |

Yellow Coupby justineComment: What a hot rod. It's definitely yellow and your shot is technically pretty good. It's a shame you couldn't include mroe of the car though. |

Yellow Mossby CoreyComment: Your framing is quite good, however I find the image uncomfortable to look at. Perhaps the whitish areas could have been dulled down a bit. |

Yellowby GussiComment: A classic shot (on this site at least) with a very different crop. Personally I would have went for a more traditional crop - I find the top of the droplet missing to be frustrating. Other than that though your focus is very good and the yellow is... well... very yellow. Well done. |

Yellow?by Cjorgy2oo4Comment: I think the lighting on the right edge is too harsh - it's flared right out. As a result, yellow doesn't seem to be the dominant colour - I think blue takes over (since I tend to ignore black and white). Other than that the image is ok. |

Fresh Paintby kpskhalsaComment: What are the lines running horizontally through the image? Powerlines perhaps. I find the crop at the bottom distracting - just a bit of black hull but not enough to be obvious. Also the ladder is a shame. Perhaps you could try cropping them out. Focus looks ok, but the image is a little smaller than I would have liked - was this done for a reason? |

Sunburstby mariomelComment: I love the sunburst effect in this flower. Your composition is very good - I like the inclusion of other flowers in the background. The petals create interest by having such a range of colour - going from bright yellow to almost black at some points. Well done for a very good submission. |

Dark Side of the Appleby JackoComment: It's certainly a different shot for an apple. I like the composition but the apple is a little grainy - perhaps from washing the colour out (if the apple was originally a different colour). It also looks like it has been sharpened too much. |

Yellow on Iceby KazComment: Unfortunately this image is a little grainy and pixelated. I suspect you were a long way away and either used digital zoom or cropped heavily. Also, being able to see writing on the ball but not read it is a little frustrating. I do like the combination of blue and yellow though - they sit together so well. |

A little Sunshineby WILDBLUEComment: Great work - very yellow, lot's of texture and a nice focal point. It looks like you had a light source behind the flower - which really helps to make the petals glow. Good luck - I think you'll do well. |
