"Neo, Trinity... NOW!"by swaroskjiComment: Critique Club
Composition: You have used an extreme close up of the phone but it works well. It's fairly obvious that it is a phone and the reflection is wonderful. The background on the right side is a little distracting because it's not obvious what it is - although making it so blurred prevents it from distracting the viewer.
Technical Quality: The photo is very good from a technical stand point. Good exposure, lovely colour (very appropriate to the challenge)
Creativity: I love the subject matter - the phone is so significant in the movie and adding a character was a wonderful idea. I'm guessing it's an image from a poster or DVD cover or something similar - great idea.
Meeting the Challenge: You have easily met the challenge - the subject, title and coloring of the photo are spot on.
Overall: For only your second contribution you have done a wonderful job - well done. I look forward to your future work since this entry is so good.

There is no spoon!by The KidComment: Nice tie-in to the movie and the white background reminds me of all the times they enter the program without a background (like when selecting guns). The reflection in the spoon is a little distracting since the spoon was seen indoors and the reflection looks like trees and a fence. Great work though. |

Matrix...A Computerized Dreamby OneSweetSinComment: The photo, whilst being quite nice, doesn't really tie in to the movie. I would have liked to see a more easily associated image, rather than trying to make an image fit the challenge. |

It’s Chinese to me!by pollonosComment: Unfortunately there is very little photographic skill to comment on. I understand the title but the photo is boring and does not provoke interest. |

Blueby EJComment: That's really interesting. Is it some kind of sea creature? |

Hyper Driveby DennisFComment: Wow - I love the focus effect you achieved. I'm guessing the train you were on is moving with a long exposure. I love the result. |
