Horses, trees, grass, skyby vestanpanceComment: A lovely photo. The colour and contrast make for an interesting shot. My only criticism would be the left edge framing. Looking at the gap between the right edge and the tree, and the gap between the bush and the horse, I would have tried to replicate that gap on the left edge. I guess that's a personal taste thing though. Focus is quite good. Well done |

Dead Of Winterby jmsetzlerComment: Wonderful photo. B&W really works, as does the border. The sky is great, as is the entire composition. Nothing negative to say about this actually. My only suggestion would be to remove the powerline (if that's not too much trouble for a free challenge photo) - but given that's my best suggestion you have done very well. Great job. |

Southeast of Nyeby BadPiggComment: A lovely classic landscape shot. The rocks in the foreground provide interest, whilst the mountains provide a sense of vastness. Technically very good - lovely colour, focus and depth of field. My only negative would be the squareness of this photo - it's not bad but I think I'd prefer a wider shot (depending on what was out each side). Well done though - one of the best and very true to the challenge title. |

Lanscape became Cityscapeby jgillardComment: Looking at those buildings I'd say it became cityscape a long time ago (100 years or more), but I still like the photo. It has an interesting mix of building types and colours and is nicely framed by the two trees. Good work |

Place of stillnessby vjozComment: A great postcode like photo. The falling over signpost has an almost comical quality to it - which I like a lot. I think black and white was a good choice for this photo (I think a lot of people overuse b&w). Well done. |

Tree in dusk, tree in Winterby ftsleeComment: That's an interesting composition - probably not something I would have been brave enough to try. It does make a real lonliness statement about the tree though - it's so small and alone in the scheme of things. Focus is pretty good (just a tiny bit blurry in the branches - but possibly unavoidable). Well done |

Town or Country?by GinaRothfelsComment: Nice panaroma. The border also works well with the white buildings. Colours are nice and simple and it shows the urban sprawl well. |

As The River Turnsby spillerComment: I think the shot would have been a little bit better without the shadow (wouldn't it be nice to be able to sit around for days waiting for the perfect moment to take a photo). Other than that, your photo has nice focus, and a nice composition. I particularly like the rocks in the foreground. The tree disappearing out the top of the photo is a bit of a distraction, but nothing major. Well done |

Blot on the Landscapeby paynekjComment: It's an interesting contrast, especially with the background being hazy. Focus and lighting of the tree is very good and I think you have made your point. Well done. |

Serenityby lykofosComment: I love the rocks in the still water - they look great. Your composition / framing is very good. The whole picture has a feeling of serenity to it - well done |
