Beautiful. One of my top picks.
A bit more contrast (whiter whites and blacker blacks :-) would benefit the image, IMO. And maybe a tad more DoF, to include the whole ace of hearts.

A bit more contrast from the background would add to the impact of the image. Fo example if the background was white(ish)

Beautiful and striking image.
I imagine you had difficult time choosing the right focus point and DoF. I cannot decide for myself (if i was shooting this) what should be in focus i how much. :-)

I really with the "cocktail" was at least as red as the straw.
It would have been dazzling.

Very difficult shot, especially for minimal editing.
I seems impossible to remove the distracting elements without altering the red elements.

Not red enough, IMO. Maybe some different camera settings (more saturation) would emphasize the redness of the reflection.

Nice idea and an execution to match. Awesome.
For this challenge, i wandered around the town looking for graffiti with the text red (црвено to be precise :-) written/painted in red, but couldn't find a good one. Light painting never came to mind.

The blown highlights in the brush tip are a bit distracting, but only a bit.

Wow. Tack-sharp image and excellent reds (colours in general) and DoF. My only remark is the composition. Slightly off-center placement of the parrot would be nicer.

I wrote you a nice big comment and the bloody site lost it :-( Here i go again. I happened twice, but the second time around i had it copied to clipboard.

I really like the concept, but the photographic execution is slightly under par, IMO.

I like:
- The separation of the red subject from the rest of the image using light and darkness. Selective colour without Photoshop :-)
- The composition. The rule of thirds really works well in this image and it is used effectively.
- The inclusion of the hand/finger in the shot. It adds to the storytelling and the human element.

I would prefer if:
- The glass was a bit larger. Is it a glass or a candle holder or another decoration?
- The glass was a standard clear wine glass filled (about 1/3) with red wine (or some red liquid) instead of the glass itself being red.
- Maybe some more light on the finger, given the red fingernail. I might add to the visual impact of the image. Just maybe.
- A bit more sharpness (or DoF) around the glass. The sharpest elements in the image are the finger (the part where the nail ends) and some stray hair strands.
