The odd framing choice to lop off the forehead ought not to work, but here it does.It helps a feel of distant melancholy, ought to ribon

Great framing and attitude, but a bit of oddness in the face from some less than stellar dodging holds it short of full marks. Top ten

Lovely, evocative and rich, my only 10. I expect it to get about a 5.8, but its damn near perfect for this audience of one.

I really wish the highlight in the eye in shadow had been in focus. Just a bit more DOF would have sent this very good portrait over into ribbon land.

If you had squared up this shot and gotten rid of the lattice and just gone shoulder to shoulder it would have helped this well lit and delightful shot.

The lack of light in the eyes hurts what is one of the best images yet.

A very nice shot, lovely glowing light, but too much of the top third of the image is blocked up blacks on my monitor. A bit more dodging out to bring up details, or cropping out to put the weight on the areas where there is detail would have helped. Never the less, this ought to do well

Enough with the water drops already! Especially when they are as rich and beautifully lit as this. Its bloody annoying when some of us have to seek out far and distant places to shoot and all you have to do is turn on the tap to get a complex and subtle abstract with great detail and visual interest. I hate it. Great shot, top three, grats

The siding is pretty distracting, but everything else is just lovely. Ought to ribbon.

Just a lovely shot. I think the ladybug detracts from the shot, but I know it is a popular DPC convention. Never the less the framing and lighting make this my pick for a ribbon
