Aloneby BastaComment: Congratulations on the HM Dean, great framing subtle tones. Did you bring the doll? It plays off the tones of the building so well. and the sense of lost hope is great. |

Red Metal Mystery Box by DCNUTTERComment: Congratulations, well deserved (well actually I thought you deserved one spot higher, but don't tell Wendy) |

ghost dogby BrennanOBComment: Thanks for being worried about my poor dog. No animals were harmed in the making of this image. i was proud of him for holding his stay well enough not to blur a 1/13th second exposure. Message edited by author 2011-04-27 00:53:21. |

Heliophobia - Fear of bright sunlightby h2Comment: Beautifully lit, and a clever idea, but the missing frame on the wall is such a strong presence that I wonder if leaving it in, and the chair out, might have made a better entry. As is the place where the frame was and the chair vie for attention. Top five. |

Lost Walletby HawkinsTComment: I fear you will get some low votes from the folks with over dim monitors, but for me hiding the wallet in the dark works perfectly. Im not sure the centered composition is ideal since it reminds me of some launch tube as it is with little to entertain the eye on the left and right, but it ought to be top ten. |

Reves de Carnavalby tangueraComment: Nicely lit and with great color balance, the similar tones in mask and walls works well to bring up the textural differences. I do wish the mask and it's lovely reflection were not so cramped down in the corner. |

The Old Primary School by vawendyComment: One of my top two, sober lonely and rigorous. The frame is a bit too similar to the crown moulding for me, it seems to make a triangle on top that leads they eye off the page. Minor quibble in a major work. |

Red Metal Mystery Box by DCNUTTERComment: My favorite of the challenge. how you were able to get bright colors to be so melancholy is impressive, and it makes this shot sing. Well lit, tons of great textures, and perfect placement of you object. |

IMG_3321L1by WildShutterComment: This is the best lit of the group. There is some nice light fall off on either side of the face to give greater form and definition. |
