November Mist, Daybreak by Bear_MusicComment: Congratulations Robert. Since I have decided that my monitor can't see oversharpening or grain I couldn't vote on this one, but it was among the best on my monitor. |

sIMG_6229by TiberiusComment: Did you know that Francis Ford Coppala used to own that building and kept his offices on the third floor? it is now owned by his children who run American Zoetrope studios, Roman and Sophia Coppala. |

multiple failby FourPointXComment: extra points for going with a gate valve and a true out of the box entry. points deducted for missing the focus on the vise grips and getting full focus on the stucco. This could have been a very cool textural study in addition to the humor, but the back focus stole a lot of you thunder. |

Together Foreverby IAmEliKatzComment: I like the subject and the conversion works well, but the framing puzz,es me.With all the dead space on the right why cut off the subject on the left and squeeze it so tight above and below? With a different framing this might have done quite well. |

Big Vern's Dinerby P-A-U-LComment: Although the subject is less than exciting, this is the sort of rich color and strong contrast that scores well here at DPC. Look at the histogram on this image and compare it to some of your flatter images. get that sort of subject matter to have this sort of pop and you will be on your way. |

Hot Air Ballonby tonywanComment: Wow, I have no idea how this fell so far. What a great image, though it was a bit flat in tonal range, it is a unique viewpoint, and it works well as an abstract, I expected this to be on the front page. |
