Approaching Stormby StagoleeComment: A great sense of space and light here, but I so wish we had one building, or figure, or even a humble cow to act as the focus for all this empty. I find my self thinking "Is the sky offsetting the land? The trees? What?" Still it is a beautiful image, it only lacks that one element to be in ribbon land. |

Negative Spaceby DevinderComment: The play of duality and the strong story here are really good. I do wish the blacks on the figures weren't so blocked up, the floating body parts might have worked with a single figure, but with the two figures the negative space ought to be between them, and not be allowed to creep between neck and hand. Top five. |

Blustery Morningby giantmikeComment: Great sense of the wind running past your back, by why oh why did you include those buildings on the right? They add nothing and add a second positive into your negative space. The mill was enough. |

Terminusby PenelopeKComment: I love the tones and the framing, but the editing is a bit too much for me. The water and the wood are fine, but the handrail has been reduced to an overworked watercolor. Oh for just a bit more restraint this would have been great, but for me minimalist shots like this are all about texture, and part of this song is muddled. Top ten |

Long way homeby Silent-ShooterComment: Your empty is so full. The framing does a good job of isolating the figure in the landscape, but the landscape is so rich and well rendered that I have trouble seeing it as purely negative space. Top ten. |

the ships have sailed by NeatComment: I am torn on this one. I love the image, the mystery and the colors, but for this challenge I want a something that all this big empty sets off, and all we have here is the no ships. Close to the top, but for one little bump on the horizon, it would have been a contender. |

Skytrainby Yo_SpiffComment: Very strong entry but just a bit too much subject in the frame to get full marks. |

blue water world by grahamgatorComment: Nice quirky entry that really stands out from the pack. Beautiful colors well edited. I am not sure if I like the out of level water for it's twist of weirdness more than I want it flat. Tied for top vote. |
