Hippoby Rando D300Comment: nice shot but it is a bit too big to be concidered a closeup, let alone a macro. The image is nice, I like the way the muddy water brings out the texture in the flat of the face and the dof is sweet, great edge to edge crispness, but it just dosent meet the challenge IMHO. |

Aliceby StrikeslipComment: nice idea but the ratio of moon to stone is too small. I don't know if a longer lens was possible, but it would have given these very nice elements more pop. |

An Elaborate Resting Placeby JeileenComment: the haloing in the sky is just too much, and the sky being blue-blue on the right and white behind the trees make this such and oddly manipulated backround that it is hard to focus on the crypt. |
