| I think a close crop on the flower would have made a stronger composition. You could still have enough of the face in the shot to maintain the imagery, I think. |

| Well done...I think this is the first that I have come accross where the background - always extremely out of focus in macro shots - is well suited for the subject. It is a bit spooky due to the strong shadows on the face. |

| nice image. well thought out and the lighting on the flowers is very nice. Something about the back image is disturbing. perhaps it is the lack of color and/or context. a bit of garden or other colorful area along with the face might have been effective. bumping up, cause it is interesting |

| 7 - Unusual. Nice detail on the flower. For me, perhaps a little more flower and a softer face in the distance. Too - contrasted? Nice concept though. |

| Interesting concept for this picture. I like the background in this image. I wonder if having the background just slightly blurrier, would have been good, because as it is now, it detracts slightly from the forground. My eye seems to want to bounce around on this image. Having the face just a little less noticable would have made this a better image, in my opinin. But still a great shot! <9> |

| The detail on the flower is very clear and the color is lovely. I find the blurred portrait in the background a little distracting because it overshadows the smaller subject. Perhaps if more of the flower were shown, or from a different angle, the background wouldn't be so overpowering. I like the idea though, and it was nice to see something new in this challenge! |
