This was one of the ideas I thought of and chose not to enter. In retorspect, I think that was a mistake. This is a happy image with good colors. The focus is a little off, and the curvature effect of the tall trees doesn't help this, but, overall, a nice effort.

Great idea (strong enough for a good score despite the following suggestions.) Exposure is a little off, but you chose a tough scene with the bright and dark regions. The focus could have been sharper as well.

I would have used a white background and worked to remove the red eye by moving the light source a little to make this en even more fun picture than it already is.
