Yes, the building and the bench are wooden, the light is interesting as well, coming in the window. Think about composition when you're out...look through the camera, see the image as it will appear on a print or on the computer screen. Look left, right, etc... It seems like an interesting place though...but like I said, think about composition.

Hrmm, not sure what you were going for here, but the processing to the sky takes focus away from your intended subject...the sky is also too purple.

Great colors. I can't imagine why you cut the top of the flower off. The DOF is probably just a tad low in this one to bring out the flower to its fullest. Try bumping up a notch in aperture...certainly the background would still be out of focus. Like I said, great colors, 6
